The process of coat furniture requires careful control at every stage.
Raw materials used to create the edges are important as well as the materials used in the gluing phase. To ensure excellent results in terms of quality and aesthetics, we recommend different products depending on the type of bonding. Read the article to find out the right one!

STANDARD BONDING  

The first is PROTOSTIK 5400, an EVA-based hot melt adhesive, recommended for general edge bonding.
The second one is PROTOSTIK 5100, always EVA-based. It allows gluing many types of edges using automatic edge banding machines. And, further, it is suitable in case of pre-adhesivation of the edges.

SOFT FORMING METHOD  

For the coating of shaped edges, we recommend PROTOSTIK 6508. It is a transparent glue line, specific for special gluing.

BONDING FOR ABS, PVC, ETC.

We recommend polyurethane hotmelt PUROSTIK EB 100, 110, and 160 for bonding primed plastic edges, like ABS, PVC, and PP, solid wood and impregnated paper.
However, if you are looking for a low viscosity product with excellent versatility, we recommend PUROSTIK EB 170.
