Our range of self-extinguishing adhesives continues to expand: we have added the first vinyl acetate adhesive, PROTOVIL M31.
But that's not all. Our customers know that one of our daily goals is to develop products that are safe for people's health and comply with the relevant technical standards.
The best way we have to demonstrate and certify our commitment is through certifications.  For this reason, today we want to tell you about our new product PROTOVIL M31: a RINA-certified product, which since July 2023 has also been GEV-certified.

PRODUCT FEATURES

It is a vinyl acetate adhesive in aqueous dispersion with extremely fast drying. It is specifically designed to provide incollaggi resistenti all’acqua conformi alle norme EN 205/2016 D3 (contact us to request the certificate).

CERTIFICATIONS

RINA

PROTOVIL M31 is a product with self-extinguishing properties certificato RINA according to the directive 2014/90/UE (MED) which was issued to increase the safety of sea travel and combat pollution. The certification attests to its self-extinguishing properties and makes PROTOVIL M31 suitable for production of manufactured goods subject to flammability restrictionsThe use of this adhesive does not contribute to the spread of flames in the event of a fire.

The Certificate of Approval (Form B) and Surveillance Form (Form D) issued by RINA in accordance with European requirements (EC standards), verified by international regulations (IMO), are available. (Contact us to obtain the certificates)

EC1^PLUS

Since July 2023 PROTOVIL M31 is a certified product EC1^PLUS and EMICODE, the German association for emissions control that works in the fields of construction and consumer protection. The EC1 certification^PLUS of the PROTOVIL M31 is th premium class of the certifications proposed by the body and certifies that the product, once installed, releases the lowest level of emissions, i.e. (volatile organic compounds harmful to health) currently possible for products of this type of product..

APPLICATIONS

PROTOVIL M31 is an extremely versatile product and can be used in various fields:

• manufacture of prefinished flooring;
• hollow-core panels for furniture and doors;
• bathroom furniture parts;
• modular kitchen components;
• countertops;
• cladding strips;
• iwood-to-wood bonding where good water resistance is required.

3 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

1. We recommend that you apply PROTOVIL M31 in evenly across the entire surface which must have been previously cleaned and free of dust or release agents.

2. It is very important to respect the open time of the adhesive, which varies depending on temperature, substrate, and humidity.

3. The parts to be glued, once placed together, they must remain pressed for the time necessary and sufficient to obtain optimal bonding.
