1C polyurethane adhesive certified for wood construction

XILOBOND T is a single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive formulated with special high-performance polyurethane resins. It is designed for structural bonding of engineered wood. It does not contain solvents, formaldehyde, or heavy metals.

APPLICATIONS OF XILOBOND T

XILOBOND T is suitable for bonding conifers such as silver fir, spruce, and pine, intended for the production of blockboard and laminated panels for external doors and windows, and semi-finished products subject to high exposure to temperature and humidity. XILOBOND T can be used for the production of structural laminated wood, Bilam beams, Trilam beams, and X-LAM panels. Suitable for bonding heat-treated wood species (such as Thermowood®).

XILOBOND T can be used for the production of glued laminated timber and solid glued timber, in accordance with EN 14080:2013.

CERTIFICATION OF THE ADHESIVE

Adhesives for structural applications must produce joints with sufficient strength and durability to preserve the integrity of the bond in the assigned service class throughout the expected lifetime of the structure. XILOBOND T meets the classification requirements for type I adhesives in standard EN 15425:2008.

The single-component polyurethane adhesive XILOBOND T type I according to EN 15425:2008 is suitable for the production of structural products according to EN 14080:2013.
