High temperatures? Our PUROSTIK line is not affected by humidity. Today we want to tell you about one of our polyurethane adhesives that we at Collanti Concorde are particularly proud of: PUROSTIK PW 211/PR heat-activated polyurethane hot melt adhesive.
PRODUCT FEATURES
PUROSTIK PW 211/PR & an igro-reactive hot melt polyurethane for coating profiles in MDF and PVC.
It has a viscosity at 140°C (UNI EN 12092*) of 60.000 ± 10.000 mPa s and a opening time of 5–14 seconds.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PUROSTIK PW211 AND PUROSTIK PW 211/PR
Both are igro-reactive hot melt polyurethanes, but they differ in terms of setting speed, increased compared to PUROSTIK PW 211.
PUROSTIK PW 211 has a bonding time of approximately 1-2 seconds, while PUROSTIK PW 211/PR approximately 1 second.
In terms of curing time, PUROSTIK PW 211 has a curing period of 2-5 days, while PUROSTIK PW 211/PR di soli 1-3 days.
APPLICATIONS
It is suitable for bonding:
- Cut;
- PVC;
- decorative papers;
- laminates.
3 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
1. Adjust working temperatures according to the current seasonPUROSTIK PW211 PR is a moisture-reactive polyurethane whose viscosity tends to increase over time.
2. To preserve its quality and characteristics:melt the product in suitably dewatered and dehumidified tanks.
3. During breaks reduce the operating temperature in melting devices.
