EN 17619:2021 STANDARD: DELTAVIL 999/2C + CTZ F 15 EN 17619:2021 CERTIFIED – DURABILITY CLASS XT7

Collanti Concorde is pleased to announce an important milestone for its range of adhesives: DELTAVIL 999/2C, in combination with the CTZ F 15 catalyst, has obtained CATAS certification of compliance with EN 17619:2021, achieving durability class XT7, the highest level required by the standard.

The certification attests to the tensile shear strength of wood-to-wood bonds intended for non-structural outdoor use, confirming the high reliability of the adhesive system, even in particularly harsh environmental conditions.

In particular, the standard defines three durability classes: XT5, XT6, and XT7.

These classes allow the behavior of the bonded joint to be assessed in terms of resistance to water, humidity, and climatic variations, providing a clear reference for choosing the adhesive based on the level of exposure to atmospheric agents.

IL VALORE DELLA CLASSE XT7

Achieving class XT7 represents the highest level of performance required by standard EN 17619:2021.

This result demonstrates that the DELTAVIL 999 2C + CTZ F 15 system is suitable for applications requiring high durability, stability of the bonded joint, and long-term reliability, even in particularly challenging climatic conditions.
